A sophomore of Westwood High School is receiving some recognition for her efforts in the fashion arena.
Ashley Jermaine, who joined the fashion blog The Fashion Hub about a year ago, was recently profiled in the blog's "Female Model Feature" for her success in being represented by the group CLICK Models of Philadelphia, and most recently, CLICK Models of Boston.
The Fashion Hub provides updates on events, local success stories, and other information for those interested in fashion from Boston, New York, Rhode Island, California and Florida.
"She's a hard worker and she is a great role model for teens," said Brenda Jermaine, Ashley's mother. "This girl makes it happen, and isn't afraid to believe that dreams are not overrated."
Jermaine is a member of the Westwood High School volleyball team and has been acting and modeling since age 9. She was featured in an anti-bulling public service announcement titled "Change Things," produced by seng2kx Productions, according to Jermaine's website.
"She's mature beyond her years, and has used a free website that was built for her to spread an anti-bullying message," her mother said.
