Westwood Police Log: Larceny, Forgery, Fraud

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, August 27

Credit Card Compromised (10:01 a.m.) - A Lake Shore Dr. resident came into the station to report he had received a letter from American Express indicating that his card had been compromised. The letter recommended that he file a police report in case any fraudulent charges appeared on his statement.

Tuesday, August 28

Items Stolen from Car (9:54 p.m.) - A Strafford Rd. resident came into the station to report that items had been stolen out of his car overnight. The person stated that he had parked his car at Morrison Park and he noticed when he went back the next day that his music CDs (15 of them) and a phone charger were gone.
