Westwood Police Log: Hoods & Sunglasses

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When arrests are mentioned there is no indication of convictions.

 

Wednesday, October 24

Hoods & Sunglasses (11:38 a.m.) - A Washington St. resident called to report a suspicious vehicle driving down the street. The caller reported that it was an older vehicle with two occupants wearing hoods and sunglasses.

Road Rage (12:51 p.m.) - A woman called to report a road rage incident on French St. She stated that a man drove up beside her and extended his middle finger and had a couple of not-so-nice words to say as well. She did not get the license plate or make and model of the car.

Thursday, October 25

Suspicious Man (3:05 p.m.) - A woman called to report a suspicious man on Bonney St. She said he was knocking on the doors of several different houses. Police checked and verified that he was a licensed solicitor and was just doing his job.

Suspicious Activity (3:06 p.m.) - A resident of Canton St. called to report that an older white male was shuffling down the street. Officers were unable to locate him.

Regarding the road rage on French St, there's a middle aged white man (usually wears a baseball cap) who recklessly drives a dark blue older model toyota highlander around this area. Wouldn't be surprised if it was this guy.
