Westwood Police Log: Fender Bender Near High Street Construction

Westwood Police responded to a two-car accident last Friday, after two cars collided on the off-ramp of Rte. 128 on High Street.
The accident occurred near the new one-lane configuration on High Street, which is due to the Massachusetts Highway Department's Add-A-Lane project, which recently required the installation of stop signs on the off ramps to replace previous yield signs.
The driver of a 2002 Ford, driven by a 48-year-old Westwood woman, hit a 2007 Nissan, which was stopped on the off ramp waiting to enter High Street.
No injures occurred during the accident and neither car was towed, police said.
