Tonight the Planning Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 50 Carby St. The focus of their University Station discussions will be the zoning bylaws text. Town Planner Nora Loughnane also said that she expects the Board to announce which one of the four peer review consultant teams they will call in for an interview.

Last Thursday the Planning Board received a new conceptual plan for University Station and they are now looking to move ahead with that tonight.

Any coverage on this for those unable to attend? I mean UN Day proclamations by the selectmen are fine to report on, but I think coverage on the development plans for Westwood/University Station might be a little more newsworthy. Or maybe stepping away from the Dem/Repub fighting via commenting and asking something like "What could make Westwood Day better next year?" or "What was your favorite part of Westwood Day?" or "What do you think of the Station plans?" or "Are you in favor or against WW/University Station?" We get our fill of Bobby Valentine commenters in from other news sources and radio... covering local news/opinions was the niche that Westwood Patch used to play to.
