On Feb 14, 1999 I reluctantly went to a singles lunch with my church group. That day I met my future husband. After a few whirlwind dates, we were married on June 26, 1999. Best decision ever! He is amazing and has been blessing my life ever since!!

Met my husband at my first job out of college. He was dating my boss and we all worked for a small newspaper. We remained friends for six years, during which time he and my boss broke up amicably and I moved to Texas for two years for a job opportunity. On my way home from Texas I was thinking about what a great guy he was and flipping though my mental Rolodex to decide with whom I should fix him up next and then it dawned on me that I was that person!!! A few months later he asked, "Are we dating?" and three years after that we were married.

My wife and I met on a the Public Service Bus from S. Jersey to Philadelphia. This cute girl sat beside me. I fell asleep. I woke up with my head on the girls' shoulder. I was embarrassed. She laughed it off .We started talking. She was a student nurse in Philly. I was a college student, also in Philly. The cute girl became my wife and we have been married ever since.

My partner had asked me out while I was working retail and I jokingly said I had to work late (nervous response since I was interested). I then entered a relationship for three years that did not work out. A friend of mine asked me if I ever had a "what if" I mentioned I never went on a date from that guy that asked me out. She told me to put it on Missed Connection on Craiglist after three years of the initial asking out. Granted I say him once or twice in the three years. Two weeks after the posting on Missed Connection he responded. That was over 5 years ago and got engaged in October!

My parents also have a great story when they started dating here in Marlborough and my mom had to move to Florida with her family a few months went by and my father had enough. Borrowed a car and drove down to Florida "kidnapped" broke down once on the way there and home. She was happy to be brought back to the town she was born in (she is a self proclaimed townie).
They have been married for 32 years.

Hi...how are you? Great that's good to hear you're doing well. How about me you ask? Not much really I'm just a lonely soul in this big town of Milford. I'd like to meet someone someday perhaps another lonely Milfordian like myself. My world is a cold, empty place without that certain someone. ♥
