It was a fun weekend for one group of nature lovers from Westwood.
Rachel, Patricia and Katie Fergus and Sydney and Jade Landolphi all took to Hale Reservation on Saturday for an outdoor sports demonstration hosted by Eastern Mountain Sports.
A handful of representatives from nearby EMS stores were on hand Saturday to provide attendees with kayak and other outdoor sporting demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., free of charge. Attendeers were granted 20 percent off their next purchase of a kayak or related accessories a nearby store.
