UPDATE: Stoughton Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on I-95 in Westwood
Daniel Timmons, a 39-year-old man from Stoughton, was driving a 2002 Honda motorcycle traveling southbound on Route 95/Route 128 at Route 1 in Westwood when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed off the shoulder of the roadway.
The accident occurred at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 20.
Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney Visits Sherborn
On Thursday, August 16th, 2012, U.S. Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann Romney visited Sherborn.
Norwood Police Department Releases Strategy for Combating Drug Abuse
The Norwood Police Department, led by Chief William G. Brooks III, this week released a 13-page strategy for combating the distribution and abuse of Heroin and prescription painkillers.
"Many communities in the United States struggle with issues related to drug
dependence," the document reads. "Over the past few years Norwood has experienced an upsurge in the abuse of heroin and prescription opioids. (Opioids are drugs that are usually prescribed to relieve pain, and include oxycodone, hydrocodone and fentanyl.)"

12:22 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
2:08 p.m. - 911 caller reported a missing child from her Pine Street home. All cars notified. The child was located.
8:35 p.m. - South Street caller wanted to talk to the animal control officer about her cat.
Scott Brown Tours Dedham Square to Speak with Local Business Owners
The event was very informal and did not include a press conference. Senator Brown stopped to take pictures with supporters, and spoke with local business owners.
