9:49 a.m.: Police received a report of arcing wires. Officers notified the Fire Department and NStar responded to the scene. 

2:39 p.m.: An officer on patrol reported a suspicious vehicle that has been cirling the Washington Street area for a half hour. Area patrols were made aware of the situation. 

6:57 p.m.: Two cars were involved in a crash on the corner of Smith Drive and East Street. A 2009 Ford sustained damage to the passenger side after it was struck by a 2004 Mercury that was exiting Smith Drive. There were no injuries.
