Welcome to the Photo of the Day!

Many, though not all, of the photos from this series will come straight from our Neighborhood Gallery, to which you can upload your own photos of events, celebrations and scenes from inside the Westwood borders.

Last weekend we ran a feature on Kathryn Hildreth, who was honored by local and state officials last week for being Westwood's oldest living resident at 102 years of age. Hildreth, who has lived at Fox Hill Village since it opened more than 20 years ago, received the Boston Post Cane as a token of the town's apprecaition.

Be sure to check back each day, Monday through Friday, for a new photo and if you've got photos you'd like to submit, send them our way and we'll be sure to feature them!

Also be sure to check out the Westwood Patch Neighborhood Gallery and upload photos at any time! Or, send a photo you'd like featured to mattp@patch.com.
