Pet of the Week: Cammy, a Pug Mix

Cammy is available for adoption through the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter.

Cammy is an approximately 2-year-old female Pug mix.

She is a very cute and sweet little girl who will be a wonderful addition to the right home. Cammy can be shy at first with new people, but once she gets to know you she is very friendly.

She does not know any basic commands, so her new owners should consider taking her to training classes so she can learn good manners!  She loves toys and is very playful. Cammy plays well with other dogs but we do not know how she would be with cats.

Cammy has what we call "food aggression" and is very possessive of food, rawhides, and treats. If Cammy has something that is valuable to her and she thinks that someone is going to take it away from her, she will bite.

Cammy's food aggression is manageable, however, because of the severity of her possessiveness. She cannot go to a home with any children under the age of 18, or where any children visit frequently.

Cammy is up to date on vaccines, healthy, and will be spayed and microchipped before she goes home.

If you are interested in adopting Cammy please call 781-326-0729 or come by the Animal Rescue League's Dedham shelter.  Her adoption fee is $265.
