Neponset Valley Humane Society's Pet of the Week
Candy and Mandy, two adorable kittens, are looking for new home.
Candy and Mandy are an adorable, fun, happy, silly, playful mother and daughter pair. These two kitties are very lovable, confident and curious.
Candy is the very pretty little torbie (tortie with tabby stripes) who is about 5-6 months old. Mandy is the super cute tabby and white kitty who often acts like a kitten herself. She is about one-year-old. These darlings will do well in any cat-friendly home.
They enjoy cuddles and interactive play time. They are both very friendly cats who are happy to be strictly indoors. They love people but are also very devoted to each other. These nice young cats were abandoned by their former owner.
Because of the severe cat overpopulation problem and in an effort to encourage lifelong adoptions, NVHS does not have set adoption fees for their older kittens or adult cats. The Humane Society relies on donations and volunteers to help pets in need.
Other Humane Society News: Help every cat find the loving home they
deserve by spay/neutering your pet and avoiding accidental litters.
The next NVHS low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats is Tuesday, Aug.
28 in Norwood. Male cat neuters are $75. Female cat spays are $85.
Neighborhood and feral cats are free. Financial assistance is available for any cat owner for whom these reduced prices would truly be a financial hardship.
