Earlier this week, a Patch reader asked us via Twitter if we knew anything about a reported altercation on a bus transporting Westwood High School students. 

@tmwsiy said: Was there knife fight on bus at Westwood High last week that sent the driver to hospital via ambulance? Why nobody reporting?

Westwood Police released their report from the incident on Thursday. Here is what we have for you, @tmwsiy. 

The driver of a Westwood school bus broke up a fight between two students on Thursday, Feb. 28. 

Officers found a steak knife on a seat of the bus after the fight, which was not used in the altercation. The department said they have not been able to determine who the knife belonged to. 

The bus driver complained of pain after the incident and received transport to a local hospital.
