Each week, Westwood Patch takes a look into the past. This week, we take a look back at the old Lion Fire Company No. 2 on Clapboardtree Street.

The building served as the original Lion fire station; Lion was one of four fire companies that used volunteers to fight fires.

The building burned in 1910, and a replacement still stands at the Clapboardtree  Streetlocation.
