Help Westwood Patch Find a New Facebook Cover Photo

What photo says "Westwood" to you?

Calling all Westwood residents: We need your help.

If you haven't visited us on Facebook lately, the Westwood Patch page on Facebook has transitioned to the new timeline format. For those of you that have already embraced the new format on your personal page, you know that one giant photo dominates the screen.

And we want that one giant photo that dominates the Westwood Patch page to be good -- really, really good. Currently we have a photo of Westwood Town Hall, which is great, but we want more!

We also want it to be a graphic representation of Westwood. When you think of Westwood, what image comes to mind? Is it Buckmaster Pond? Morrision Park? Hale Reservation? Perhaps it's just a seasonal scene?

Full color, black and white, sepia tone ... the artistic license is yours (as long as the photo still reflects reality). We're looking for a collection of Facebook cover photos that we can rotate on the Westwood Patch page. Do you have one to share?

Select your best Westwood-centric horizontal photo and e-mail it to mattp@patch.com. Be sure to include a caption with your photo as well as your full name.

Help Patch reflect what Westwood looks like to you.

The "Entering Westwood" sign (white with black lettering)! with apologies to those who might support a "quaint" gold leaf lettered sign ... (at least I didn't recommend the traveling orange sign)

Very good suggestion! I'll aim to get a good photo of the sign early next week. If anyone has one they'd like to submit, send me a note at mattp@patch.com. Thanks again and keep the suggestions rolling!

I think a collage would be better. Westwood is just too big.
