Fire officials from Westwood and surrounding towns battled a two-alarm fire Saturday evening.
Firefighters from Westwood and such surrounding towns as Norwood, Walpole and Dover responded to a two-alarm fire at a home on Crystal Hill Terrace in Westwood Saturday evening.
Westwood Deputy Fire Chief Mike Reardon told Westowod Patch late Saturday evening that the home sustained damage through the roof and the side of the home.
"First arriving companies had fire through the roof and on the right-hand side of the side of the house, aggressive interior attacked. . . they were able to knock it down," Reardon said Saturday night.
When asked about the extent of the damages, Reardon said, "At this time, no estimates right now."
No injuries were immediately reported as a result of the fire, and no animals were reported to be located inside.
Westwood Patch will provide more information as it becomes available.
