Another round of Westwood students were named to Dean's List at area college for the Fall 2011 semester. 

This week, Berklee College of Music announced that Paul Hatfield and Eva Christopherson of Westwood were both named to the Dean's List at the school. 

To be eligible for Dean's List at Berklee, a full-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or above; a part-time student must achieve a grade point average of 3.6 or above. 

Meanwhile, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) announced that Melissa Haughn, a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering from Westwood, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2011 semester.

A total of 1,151 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for the fall 2011 Dean's List at the school, according to a press release.

The criteria for the WPI Dean's List, however, differs from that of most other universities. WPI does not compute a GPA, but instead defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.
