5 Things You Need to Know Today: Jan. 26

Today's Forecast: Expect the day to start with sun early on then changing to clouds later in the day. Highs will reach near 43 degrees, according to Weather.com.

1. Hale Road Closed Today: Hale Reservation will close its main road today for part or maybe most of the day, as NSTAR will be installing a telephone pole. The gate will be left closed and will staff be posting a sign to inform the public during the installation.

2. Wolverines in Action: Westwood High School's varsity coed Alpine Ski Team will compete in a slalom race at Blue Hills at 6 p.m. today. Find out more by clicking here.
