5 Things You Need to Know in Westwood Today: July 23

Tonight's summer concert features Ed the Music Man.

 

Today's Weather: Despite a chance of showers this morning, skies will be partly sunny today temperatures hovering around 86 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

1. Ed the Music Man will take to the stage (i.e., Westwood Gazebo) tonight for the next edition of the Summer Concert Series The show begins at 6:30 p.m.

3. Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) has been found in Southern Massachusetts, and now in Canton, and the Westwood Board of Health is offering ways for local residents to protect themselves.  

4. Westwood officials are currently seeking residents who are interested in applying for several open spots on several of the town's boards and committees.

5. The Neponset River Watershed Association has issued a list of tips for everyone across the region, including those in Westwood, on how to conserve water this summer.
