With spring in full swing, Westwood will host a number of activities in town this weekend. Here's a list of things to check out:

1. Brockton Rox Baseball

Where/When: 1 Feinberg Way, Brockton; Friday, June 22: 7 p.m.
Why Go: Kick off the summer down in Brockton to cheer on Westwood native John Sheehan, while also enjoying fireworks!

2. Westwood Historical Society Annual Meeting

Where/When: Westwood Historical Society; Saturday, June 23: 11 a.m.
Why Go: History buffs in town will enjoy this annual meeting at the Fischer Schoolhouse in Westwood.

3. Steve Marchena in Concert

Where/When: Paradise Cafe, Dedham; Friday, June 22: 7 p.m.
Why Go: Paradise Cafe in Dedham Square is celebrating it's newly expanded menu, which now includes a large selection of beer and wine, with a free concert by renowned Classical Guitarist Steve Marchena.  

4. Trivia Tyme in Norwood

Where/When: TGI Friday's, Norwood; Sunday, June 24: 8 p.m.
Why Go: Hosted by DJ Nick, Trivia Tyme delivers an exciting, enjoyable, and professional trivia presentation for contestants to have a great time!

5. 20th Anniversary of Against the Tide Toward Breast Cancer Prevention

Where/When: 268 Cedar St, Hopkinton; Saturday, June 23: 7 a.m.
Why Go: This family-friendly fundraising event aims to benefit the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC). The event will take place at DCR’s Hopkinton State Park, and will feature a competitive and recreational 1-mile swim, 2-mile kayak, 3-mile walk, 5K run, and 10K run.
