Westwood's 9A Summer Baseball Team had a great run this past weekend in Sandwich Summer Blast Tournament action. Friday and Saturday they played teams from Braintree, Old Rochester and Walpole before advancing to the elimination rounds on Sunday. They beat Mansfield and Braintree in dramatic fashion to advance to the semi-final game, where they bowed out to Dedham in a well-played, close match. The boys will now continue to compete locally in Suburban League play.
