Westwood Community Chest thanks Roche Bros.!

The Westwood Community Chest would like to thank Roche Bros. for sponsoring the Fill the Chest campaign. Monies raised directly help people here in Westwood. For the past three months, those who donate any amount at the register may sign a badge for display on the front windows of Roche Bros. We also thank High Street Market for its participation and great contributions.

All proceeds go to the Westwood Community Chest in its mission to help families in need. "If you walk into a grocery store," said WCC Board Member Mary Beth Persons, " you can give a dollar at the cash register for the diabetes or the cancer society, here you are supporting your neighbors in need.

"Our slogan is neighbors helping neighbors," Persons said. Since times are tough, please “help us “fill the chest.” One grant from the WCC is $500 which can go a long way in paying a fuel or medical bill. Little by little, every donation at the register adds up quickly to really help."

We are very grateful for Roche Bros. commitment and continued partnership with our “Fill the Chest” campaign. The Roche Bros. campaign rose over $1200.
